I was reading a blog earlier today, written by a young women who is about to be married. She and her mom are at the stage of finding a florist and choosing flowers. And she made a very good point about wedding flower bouquets; make them from in-season flowers. That is a clever idea. Because the fresh flowers which growers are selling at any one time are the blooms they are harvesting, and as they do that in competition with other growers the flowers are a lot less expensive. A bride can make savings by choosing the flowers coming fresh onto the market. And she can do this without sacrificing any of the impact fresh flowers bring to a marriage service or wedding reception.
