Quicksand roses are one of the most sought after rose types for weddings. Their color is hard to describe since it can vary slightly from a sandy blush, to a creamy champagne, powdery off-white with subtle hints of pink, or a pastel musky shade. Whatever the exact hue of their petals, these roses combine gorgeously with dusty greenery or sage greens. They are the perfect choice when planning a vintage or rustic-style wedding, and their classy look calls the attention just enough but still allows other pairing blooms to shine.

Your flowers are cut to order and packaged by certified workers at the world's top farms. Below are some useful details about this particular variety.
Your flowers may not arrive looking as gorgeous as they really are. This is NORMAL. Please review the Flower Care instructions tab on this page or the instructions included in the box so they may look their best. Once hydrated, the blooms will open and you will witness the magic of a flower explosion! Exact color tone of flowers received may vary slightly from the pictures as they are a naturally grown product and monitor display resolutions are not uniform. There may be rare occasions where the exact variety ordered is not available due to unforeseen production or weather issues at the farms. We will make our best effort to reach you if this occurs, however, time may not allow for it and substitutions could be sent without your verbal or written confirmation. Any substitution will be of the same color tone and of at least equal value.
Flower care
Remove the flowers from the box by cutting the straps, but don’t remove the rubber bands that hold the flower stems together.
Remove sleeves sleeves, paper, or packaging from around the flower heads and stems.
Fill your container with 4-6 inches of fresh, room temperature water.
Mix the packet of included flower food in the water to protect the flowers and provide additional nutrients.
Cut the stems diagonally under running water with a sharp knife or scissors, one inch from the stem’s bottom edge.
Place the stems in the prepared water and watch them come to life! Remove the rubber bands and remove any leaves that fall below the water line to increase the vase life.
Change water every two days for increased vase life. Keep flowers in a cool location, away from direct sunlight and drafts.

Do not place flowers in direct sunlight, drafts, excessive heat, or freezing temperatures. Keep flowers in a cool location while they hydrate. Remove any foliage below the water line, refresh the water regularly, and handle stems gently when arranging.

Your flowers have been cut to order and professionally packaged at the farm. So what's next?!
All Flower Explosion orders are placed in the trusted care of FedEx. Your blooms are transported in modern refrigerated cargo planes and kept in cold storage throughout their journey. You will receive an email from us with the tracking number(s) once the order ships. You may track progress on the Fedex website. We offer weekday delivery Monday thru Friday.
Your delivery date has arrived! The flowers are loaded on the truck and delivered to your door. FedEx does not provide an exact delivery time, but deliveries are typically made between 10am and 5pm, though it is largely dependent on the service available at the recipient's address.
You want your flowers to arrive fresh and in good condition, right? So do we!
That's why FedEx requires a signature upon delivery to ensure flowers are not left outside exposed to weather conditions such as excessive heat, cold, sun, rain or any other risk. Please have someone present at the delivery address to sign for and receive the flowers.
Don't want to reveal a surprise or nobody will be home? No problem! If you would like the flowers to be delivered without a signature, please contact us at least three days before your scheduled delivery date and we will make the request for you. Alternatively, you may write a signed note stating no signature is required and leave it in a location visible to the FedEx driver. Please keep in mind either request method relieves the shipper of responsibility should the packages be stolen or their content damaged once FedEx has left the packages unattended. FedEx does not guarantee all requests will be honored. If the delivery attempt is missed, please call FedEx at 800-463-3339 and provide your tracking information to reschedule or arrange pickup.
Please double check the delivery address entered for accuracy before placing your order. We cannot easily make corrections or changes once the tracking number and shipping label have been created. A $20 fee will be assessed for any changes made to the delivery address once the tracking has been generated. Any address change after the product has shipped may result in delays as the package may need to be rerouted.

My order was set to be delivered two days ahead of the event I needed them for. The tracings information showed they were going to be late, so I reached out to customer service. They were able to work directly with the shipping provider to ensure my order was delivered in time. The flowers arrived fresh and all in great condition. They started to open up shortly after trimming them and putting them in water, and they got better every day! They lasted for a week and were absolutely gorgeous! I will be ordering from Flower Explosion again for future events. You can’t beat the price and quality!
I bought these for wedding decor 5 days before the event. I was so nervous that the roses wouldn’t come in, that they wouldn’t bloom, and that they would be totally different than what was in the picture. Because I had never done business with this company, I was skeptical and a bit nervous I just go scammed. They arrived 2 days before my wedding (perfect!) and were buds. We followed all of the directions and they bloomed to be the most beautiful champagne colored roses! I was amazed and will use this company again! $99 for 25 beautiful long stem quicksand roses!
Always a great experience
Everything arrived on schedule and beautiful
This was my fourth order with Flower Explosion since I have been so happy with their service from prices, ordering, status, delivery and condition of the flowers. However this past order I'd have to say I'm a bit disappointed, I ordered flowers for Mother's Day and for the entire week the order status didn't change and on the day of delivery nothing showed up. I called the customer service line which I left a message with my contact info which I never got a response. The flowers showed up 5 days after the original delivery date with no reasoning of being late or follow up. When the flowers showed up they were to same quality as my past orders and that is the reason why I gave them 4 stars strictly on the flowers however that wouldn't be my rating for this experience overall.
Flowers arrived on schedule recommended by agent for travel to event site - 3 days ahead of Celebration of Life. They were beautiful!!! Except for cutting and water changes, the roses were kept in the cooler the entire time until the morning of the event. That was day 4 and they were starting to deteriorate and 2 had to be discarded. My thought is that delivery was too far ahead and I wish we hadn’t needed to travel to such a remote location that could not have received the delivery directly from FlowerExplosion. .
